In paradise, I lie in comfort In paradise, I lie with you Then, I awaken to an empty bed “How a dream can seem like a nightmare….” And my perfection becomes my curse You see it as such That life with you is a burden But the only burden is the thought of being without A fantasy, a reality, a fairytale, a memory Of angels and miracles Of heart-ache and worrying It has become a story of hope and a biography of pain This trial, and all its tribulations Is it all worth it in the end? I believe this piece is the answer….

 To see my true side To know that I am evil That I am not of my mind You lose thought of me You lose love, you lose hope You finally come to reality I am pain A pain to myself A pain to the ones around me And all it takes is one bad day So what if I am numb, Does that mean that I am hated? So what if I am angry, Does that call for a change? Am I to be the me you want me to be? Am I to fake happiness? For a long time, that answer was yes I am to only do what other want, even if it destroyed me But no more I am depressed, so I shall be depressed I am lethargic, so I shall be the same No longer shall I do what makes others
